Session 14: Adventures in Ashanor Report

General Summary

The whole party finally sets off towards the dragon's cave. Along the way they meet a refugee whose caravan got attacked a ways away. Later a path of destruction through the trees may suggest giants. Finally in the mountain pass the party comes upon a man in their way on the road. Raphael comes up with a cunning ruse allowing her to attempt to touch the man's mind by "blessing" him. Upon connecting with the man he leaps away and shows his true form, that of a mighty adult black dragon. After a fairly swift and nearly deadly defeat the dragon laughs and makes fun of the players. Beaten and bedraggled they begin their journey back to Caldera. On the way running into some vampiric kobolds hungry for blood. Finally getting back to town they drink and take full advantage of the brothel and their rooms for the night.
