The Motley Mess navigates the Isles of Castall. A grouping of islands that has never before been explored or chartered due to the various and strange dangers that have been rumored to live on the island from sirens to beasts that no one has seen before.


Day 1: The party wakes up from where they camped on the beach the previous night and prepare for the journey ahead of them. They enter the woods through a small path that they discovered. Travelling they see all manner of vegetation but very little in the way of animals though they can hear them. Along their travels the meet Adaronin, an ancient guradian and the first tree of the forest. They also meet Rysan a questionable character who has apparently been living on the island for some time now. The party having heard a bit about this strange gelatinous thing that came into existance in the freshwater supply, decides to go check it out and take care of the problem for the island. In the process they nearly lose Harold. After the battle they decide to rest there for the night.

Day 2: During the night the party watched the forest come alive but not with fauna instead they watched as the flora community interacted as if they were humanoids, speaking and move around. In the early morning Kronk was presented with a gift from Adaronin and the forest. It was a great club named Adaronin's Defender. The party talked a bit and it was suggested they attempt to adopt one of the shrubs. After some talking they adopted a shrub who seemed eager for exploration and named it Moss. Adaronin gave the party a ride to the east edge of the island and from here they opened their folding boat and sailed across the channel to the southeast island. Upon getting close enough they closed the boat and as they were swimming to shore began to be chased by a pack of lizardlike entities. Battle ensued on the beach with the party easily taking out many of them and the rest eventually ran off into the water. The party camped out and that night Iroh noticed a bright flash in the distance and several trees went down. They decided they may investigate this.

Day 3: The next morning they woke and continued travel heading first towards the ship they were told about by Rysan. They travelled and that night went to sleep during which they were attacked by some unseen entity. Eventually some frog/fish humanoid like creatures revealed themselves and battle ensued during the night. One of them managed to get a way and a chase ensued. However, the entity made it back to what appeared to be a terrestrial/aquatic based village and the party decided not to persue them any further though Harold wanted to taunt them. The party managed to finish their rest.

Day 4: The party woke and continued their travel eventually finding their way to the ship. They explored the ship and after finding some treasure, and the missing Prince Temnuil Voiddane, they exited the ship. However, it turns out something had been alerted to their presence as some strange entities, similar to those from the nightmare but not looking tortured, were waiting for them. Again battle ensued and after they had killed most of them a kraken appeared and began to attack. The party decided they could not handle this and managed to make their getaway back to the beach. They decided to rest on the beach during which time they looked over their items and opened the vase that the Prince had been holding onto, only to release a Djinni. The Djinni granted Kronk two wishes the first being to tell the party what the Djinni knew about Rysan and the second being that the party could understand Moss. They decided to save the third wish and asked the Djinni where he would like to be returned to. They have agreed they would bring him back to Bashamaar when they finished on their current quest. The party rested.

Day5: The party woke and continued into the forest, deciding they needed water Kronk set out attempting to find a game trail to some water. They came across a group of bipedal lizards that had long hooked claws on their fore and hind legs and decided to skirt around this group. They did eventually find water in a large watering hole area. While they were resupplying and bathing they were attacked by the largest lizard creature they have seen thus far that stood at about 18 to 20ft and was a deep blue with shocks of bright blue going across its back. It breathed a wave of lightning and battle ensued. During the fight several party members fell unconscious and Harold died. Kronk finally felled the beast and then went to find Harold. He brought Harold's body back to the party and it was decided that Harold would not want to be brought back. The party travelled with him, avoiding any other dangers and finally found the coast of the island. They lightly buried Harold and slept for the night.

Day 6: The party woke and decided to set out on the folding boat. Once they were in deeper waters they gave Harold a burial at sea and continued onto the next island. They land at the next island and discover a vibrant island with other colors one could think of and some they have never seen. They also discovered trees that grew into the ocean and sand that was as vibrant as gold and sparkled like thousands of diamonds.
