Hartfell

Hartfell is a modest town, with a population of around 450 non-Mavros permanent residents and occasional visitors from the trading vessels passing in and out of the docks. Most citizens are shopkeeps providing services to travelers and traders. The town is predominantly human, but other peoples have been increasingly present within its borders since the announcement of the Mavros Guild’s creation. There is a sizable kalashtar population among the Dreaming Knights present in the town, as well as the attendants of the town’s temple district.

Turfi’s Workshop: Visit the elaborate forges and workbenches of the shop on the southwestern edge of Hartfell’s seaside market to pick up magical commissions or practice your own craft of artifice.
Seaside Market: Travelers and traders come through Hartfell’s seaside market on steady seasonal schedules, landing at the docks with an influx of spending money and carrying news to-and-fro about happenings throughout Astalia.
Hartfell Cove: A mile up the coastline from the docks is a popular fishing and swimming spot in the form of Hartfell’s cove and beach.
Temple Quarter: Devotees of Astalia’s pantheon attend and worship at the altars arrayed for each deity in the temple quarter. Those seeking spiritual guidance may find it by coming by to make an offering.
The Underbelly: This underground stone-walled speakeasy north of the Town Square has become Hartfell’s local spot to eat, drink, and get a taste of home for adventurers from the Gloom. Live music every three nights, with any rowdy crowds kept in check by the gorgon bartender, Morchella.
Town Square: Storefronts and novelties abound in Hartfell’s central square. Seating and tables are available outside the local café, and the cobbled space fills with vendors and stalls on market day.
