The Lowlands

The Lowlands encompasses the lower forested mountain valleys surrounding The Plateau. Contained within its thick forests is the large network of trade roads known as The Green Way. The entire area is ripe with game and other resources, however was never permanently colonized, likely due to the geopolitical tensions between Altonshire and the Elves near to the west. Hidden throughout the forest are several small cabins or camps of huntsmen, fishermen or traders - as well as just as many bandits, vagabonds or naerdowells.
