Aagi
The Walking Nightmare; Sleeps Curse
The God Aagi addressing an angry crowd of people who blamed him for their nightly nightmares that started when he came to town:
“Dreams are more than portents of things to come, they are also a part of you and reflect all the parts of yourself. If your dreams frighten you little ones then ask yourself who gave you those fears? Was it me, or was it you? If it is only a part of you then do you fear yourself? Step into my darkness, it will hide you but your own mind you will never escape from. Stay with me in the dark too long and who knows what we’ll become.”

Aagi demands that his followers discover all they can about themselves, and introduce others to this self-discovery. Beware those who claim to have defeated their demons for they are the most deadly enemy, denial.
