Head of the Jizar
Each major guild of Kinar has a guild master that oversees the running of the guild and the nation.
Qualifications
In general, a guild master looks for who is the most dedicated and experienced of the Jizar with a mind for politics.
Requirements
They must be a member of the Jizar, with some experience in both gathering and the archives. They may not be related to the previous guild master.
Appointment
In the Jizar, a guild master is chosen by the previous master and groomed as the guild master's hand. Unless otherwise stated in a legally binding manner upon a guild master's death the hand takes over.
Duties
Overseeing the general well-being of the Jizar, and ruling Kinar.
Responsibilities
Securing funding for the guild, reviewing high-profile information, and determining what information can be sold where and when.
Benefits
There is a good salary, and the guild master becomes a leader of Kinar.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
Severe corruption or a violation of the Jizar's charter can cause a guild master to lose their position. There must be a formal inquiry performed and overseen by the other Guild Masters of Kinar. If found guilty the punishment is to be stripped of rank and depending on the severity of the crime other sentences may be handed down by the Masters.
