After researching the language on the obelisks surrounding it's prison, it was possible to translate a request to and from the Origin Terrasque. Knowing of a held away in a hidden ruin, it requested the help of some adventurers to plunder it's depths and grant the treasure as an offering.

The last bastion of the iron king to which the party was sent was a large fort with a deep underground.   When first braving the entrance, the party encountered the coffins of two twin brothers - whose coffins held a paired set of reliquaries, yet between the two brothers was shared not only blood but hatred, For bearing the reliquary of one incurred the wrath of the other, and become inflicted upon the bearer. Something that would be discovered by Rowan and Anise, and a concept explored, as they would figure out how to broker a peace between the two objects, if only through temporary means.   Traversing deeper throughout the crypt, Alexsander, Anise, Marrok, Pennie and Rowan all would showcase their various unique fighting styles and intellects as they solved the problems with a mixture of brute force, and sheer creativity. With Marrok spotting out traps, which were resolved by the craftsman Alexsander, and for Riddles - Rowan and Pennie both put their minds together for creatve solutions, answering the riddles of a ghost long dead and entering deeper within the depths.   Their journey would be temporarily halted though, by Alexsander's discovery of an area consumed by a deeper darkness, and the creature within. A weakened woman who warned the party to stay away, lest she be consumed by a madness for their blood. This woman, they would later learn was known as "Aressia Ironblood" the last surviving daughter to her family name, and cursed with a form of undeath that gave her traits similar to a vampire, yet amplified her powers as well.   Her weapons and armor this group would later recover and return to the woman, whose loyalty earned through such actions - would later have her join the expedition as captain and tactician, with her loyalty on the line, she performs her duties with pride and precision, knowing that with this, she may yet return the reward to her saviors.   But this was not the only thing held within this dead building, for there was a memory there - of a creature whose last experience had been in bondage to a cursed sword, yet whose prison also held the same chest that was sought after by the adventurers, this water - heavy and afflicted, would drown most adventurers, yet with the creative thinking of Anise, whose warping magic grasped hold of the precious carge, she stole chest and sword both.   But the chest - constructed as it was, and containng precious cargo, could not be unlocked save for the key that was found elsewhere, imprisoned with the mistress of this bastion, an insane Medusa who had long been trapped within these depths. Combat would quickly ensue upon encountering her, an encounter which could very well slaughter most adventuring parties, save for the spellthief, Anise robbing the woman of her most powerful blessing - and curse.   Weakened, and left Vulnerable, a volley of Marrok's arrows would leave the corpse ruined, and the bindings which had entrapped the haunted souls for the millenia that had passed would pass along with her. Bringing peace, to the many who had lain here, as their hopes and dreams would be carried further by those that had vanquished the crypt.
