Arcadius

Arcadius is the ancient blue dragon who rules the Southern continent. Although his lair has yet to be discovered, it is believed the ancient dragon nests somewhere in the dark, unexplored jungles far south of Monterra.
Arcadius is father of Abraxis, and joined the Scions of Hersey to fight Trogdor's army during Trogdor's siege of Monterra. Arcadius sought revenge for Trogdor destroying Abraxis - even if Abaxis was the most disappointing of the brood - and manages to wound Trogdor and force the red dragon to withdraw.
After the fight Arcadius thanked the Scions for selflessly helping his foolish son, and for standing up to Trogdor even though they have no hope of victory. He warns them to stay out of the affairs of dragons; only another powerful dragon or intervention from the gods themselves can stop Trogdor.
He also tells them Monterra will be safe under his protection, but he will not cross the sea to fight Trogdor. His place, and his domain, is the Southern continent.
