Maximilian Miralos

Maximilian Miralos is the head of archaeology at the Roselawn Academy, and a scholar of magical academia.
After Grom and Ra'zon discovered a strange crystal in the wreckage of the Sword of the North, Carmilla Valenti suggested they seek out Miralos to identify the crystal and translate the High Déonian journal found in the hands of the dark mage that guarded it. Together, they traveled into the Katalian Mountains where Miralos was leading the excavation of a Four Diamonds Civilization archaeological site. Miralos was able to identify the journal as that of Kallindor of Gellos and the crystal as the Heart of Déon, an ancient artifact of immense power from which the rulers of Déon drew their power. 
Soon after, Miralos returned to the Roselawn academy. Some weeks later he was approached by Lethe Argie seeking information on the nature of magic and the Planespires.
