Percival Fould

Percival Fould is a member of the Eloqui Order and the court mage of Cartholt. He was formerly the groundskeeper of the Eliosan Plaza in Alcaster prior to his demotion and reassignment.
Despite being one of the most powerful mages within the Eloqui Order Percival appears to show little interest in holding or maintaining power, instead seeming content to inhabit the Eliosan Plaza and indulge in his weakness for fine wines. This love of wines brought him into a friendship with Prince Distran Hellbourne, who shares similar interests.
His penchant for drinking led him to become an unwitting pawn in a plot to rob the Great Arcaneum of Alcaster, when he was befriended and distracted by Precision Merchantel while Lethe Argie robbed the library. He briefly fell in love with Precision when she slipped him a love potion, but once it wore off reinterpreted those brief feelings as friendship. Unfortunately while he was distracted the city erupted into chaos as simultaneously the Arcaneum was robbed, an assassination attempt was made against Queen Harriet, and John Foote staged a prison break at South Isle Prison. In the wake of the chaos he was blamed for not keeping a watchful eye and demoted, being reassigned to Cartholt.
When New Dawn was blamed for the assassination attempt, Percival suspected something deeper was going on and asked Precision to investigate the matter in Roselawn. Eventually, the party discovered that Prior Confessio of the Odelion Priory had been pulling the organization's strings as part of a wide-spread conspiracy to supplant the monarchy. The party passed the information along to Percival, and it is yet to be revealed how he proceeded.
