Sokamoto

Sokamoto, also known as the Seventh Champion, was one of the first followers of the Obsidian Empress and counted among her most powerful lieutenants. Originally bestowed the title of Fourth Champion, his perceived failures in the eyes of the Empress led to his demotion to Seventh Champion; an additional insult as her champions numbered only six. Kept alive for centuries through her dark magics, over time Sokamoto began to grow disillusioned with the Empress and particularly resentful of the treatment of his fellow tabaxi within their armies. He was sent alongside the Third Champion to lead the assault on Teldyrn, but after the city shifted to the Feywild and the Empress’ control over the armies was severed he began leading a rebellion among the Ajokai forces.
During a skirmish in this rebellion, he was captured by a group of Ajokai soldiers but was rescued by Lethe Argie, Aberchak Haverdak, and Erevan. Through them he made contact with General Syldara Bardonne—the commander of the Déonian forces in the city—and struck up an alliance. Together they led an assault on Goldenblood Keep in a final push to eliminate the Third Champion once and for all.
