Ahbessa (ah-BESS-ah)
Ahbessa (a.k.a. "The Lady of Sweet Decay")
She rests on her side in a hammock of vines and soft leaves, one pillowy wing tucked under her body, the other draped over her side. An enormous ribcage, dripping with moss, arches over her like a gazebo. Beyond the bones, a perfect circle of trees casts soft, shifting shadows on her pale skin. Unseen songbirds rustle and give strange, muffled cries in the thorny bushes as the roses bob slightly in the sweet spring breeze. The Deity's eyes flit to and fro under her heavily-painted eyelids. Her lips curve into the slightest of smiles. In the Middle Realm, a woman's corpse melts slowly into the forest floor. Ahbessa watches, transfixed. Years pass. The bones scatter. The Deity of New Life From Death is the only one to see. She is the only one to care. The Middle Realm is so full of beautiful rot. It's a shame she'll never get to see it in person.

Her primary goal is to simply observe and catalogue every event or bit of information that interests her, usually having to do with interesting deaths and the beauty that blooms from decay.

Special abilities
Like every member of her race, she can see into the Middle and Higher Realms, as well as High-To-Low Selsya, though she cannot send thoughts or ideas there on her own. She uses this ability near-constantly.

Personal history
Like all of her kind, Ahbessa came into existence the moment the Realms aligned and the Age of Balance began. Since then, she hasn't been as active as other Deities, preferring instead to observe the Middle Realm through her dreams.

She has no physical sex, but she has shaped her body to resemble that of a Suktu woman's.

Her intelligence types are spatial, intrapersonal, and naturalistic. She prefers to observe and gather information instead of taking action.
Morality & Philosophy
She eagerly awaits the day every intelligent being in the Middle and Higher Realms dies and their bodies become one with the ground beneath their feet. The time between their births and deaths matters little to her.
