Oomzah Visual Arts (OOM-zah)
The art created by the Oomzah demonstrates their ties to the natural world in awe-inspiring ways. Through the use of unique techniques and objects from nature, the Oomzah create works of art that can reach colossal proportions.
History
Because of the simplicity of their preferred media and the fact that the Oomzah never felt the need to restore the tall cities, this race began their creative endeavors immediately after the Age of Balance started.
Execution
Petroglyphs and petroforms are common in Oomzah art. Subjects are likely to involve forms from nature, such as animals and plants, as well as temple-like structures. Though the petroforms require open spaces to create, the Oomzah never uproot trees in order to make these spaces, preferring instead to rely on the presence of natural clearings.
Components and tools
Rocks are used often for Oomzah creations, both to carve petroglyphs and to arrange into petroforms. The rocks used in petroforms can be enormous in size, requiring great strength and patience to move.
