Stormswirl Coast

The easternmost side of Kameshk is known for its regular rainfall, lush tropical forests, and frequent hurricanes. Though its flora and fauna are gorgeous, it's randomly buffeted by violent storms for two reasons, both created by the natural wind currents that drive weather events in its direction.

Geography

Kameshk's eastern coast doesn't feature much variation in altitude. The ground slopes upwards very gradually as it moves away from the seaside.

Localized Phenomena

The winds from the sea blow toward the coast at all times, bringing in constant rainfall and, of course, storms. These are usually simple hurricanes, but the winds have been known to capture dying sky monsters in their currents and sweep them toward the coast. Once there, the sky monsters often die and, as is the case with all of their species, dissolve into rainstorms. Sky monster death storms are rainier than the average hurricane, but the inhabitants of the area are used to them and know to prepare when a dying sky monster appears on the horizon.

Climate

The temperature ranges from warm to sweltering, especially to the north of the continent. Rainfall is a daily occurance.

Fauna & Flora

This portion of Kameshk is naturally greener than the rest. It hosts an incredibly vast population of plants and animals, many of which are brightly-colored.

Natural Resources

The forests provide an excellent source of timber and the sea is full of fish.

Tourism

This location's warm climate and lovely views make it a desirable travel location for those who can afford to visit, especially when no storms are thought to be on the way.
