Clockwork War
The Clockwork War was a relatively short but nonetheless consequential conflict that left the The Clockwork Collective leaderless and the world generally distrustful of Clockworks. Made up of a series of invasions by the Blood and the Chain, as well as battles among themselves and with the Bridge, the conflict took a terrible toll on the world and led ultimately to the The Clockwork Beast fleeing the planet.
The war is generally thoughts to have ended in or around 731 CE, when the Clockwork, weakened by the diffusion of their forces across the factions, were repelled from their incursions on the major cities. Conflicts among the factions have continued, however, as have the efforts of the Resistance to suppress further invasion.
