Shardsmith
Master-level blacksmiths and jewelers who have the ability and education to perform the Sharding process. These people are paid a kings ransom to perform their rituals and they are the absolute finest at their job.
Career
Qualifications
Master-level Blacksmith or Jeweler. Very few of either profession are allowed to undertake this profession and only the best of the best are selected by the High King himself. It is the only Noble level professional a Dark-Eyes is able to obtain.
Career Progression
Only the greatest of creators in the Kingdom of Syntheia are permitted to learn the ways of the Shardsmith. Only four are to exist at a time and each are allowed to train one prodigy to replace them upon their retirement or death.
Payment & Reimbursement
Shardsmithing is one of the highest paying professions in Syntheia. Their income matches that of the highest nobles in the land.
Other Benefits
The renown of being a Shardsmith is equal to that of a great General or Ruler. This is the highest step any craftsman could hope to take in their career in the Kingdom of Syntheia.

Shardsmiths create the ultimate weapon and armor for the greatest of Syntheian warrior.
Social Status
Shardsmiths are treated as nobility on the Syntheian Island. Furthermore, they are some of the most well guarded people in the country, second only to the High Princes and King himself.

Workplace
In one of the four Shardforge found in the city of Eos. All other Shardforges in the kingdom have been shut down as of the construction of the capitol city.
