The fall of Highwaters
Disaster / DestructionAfter imperial forces stormed the city, the castle fell to the might of the Empire of Flowers. This led to the deposing of Yulean Highwaters and the destruction of the Highwaters house. In their stead, the Floran house Morbett was given custody of the city to rule in the emperor's stead. This began the Morbett period of the Lower Lands' history.

The Ascent of the House Leowen
Political eventAfter the battle of Golden Claws over the Golden River and the treaty of the Lion, Highwaters was renamed to Crown's Rest and was elected as the capital of the Lower Land Alliance and the city was given to the Leowens of Mane Rock, the new High-Royal house.

The Starfall
Disaster / DestructionDuring the yearly Newturn festival, the Starfall was perceived to be more powerful than any other year. A single star seemed to fall to Atlas, causing an earthquake upon collision with the Inner Sea. Massive waves of water were caused to form by the collision, sending them towards the coastlines of the Lower Lands, Engalad, The Forgotten Isle and Essermount. This caused half of Crown's Rest to overflow with water, the lower districts being saved by the walls and the cliffs of the city. It is assumed that similar damages affected the Peregrine Coast in Essermount. It is said that this is the first time such am earthquake could be felt event has occurred since the Cataclysm.
