Monty's

Rocksmacker's Malt Shop, better known as Monty's, is a Speakeasy maskerading as an ice-cream parlour. It is owned and run by Monty Rocksmacker.

Staff

Aside from Monty, who mans the bar, and fronts the ice-cream parlour, the Speakeasy is staffed by Hotkeys, an ifrit who provides the piano music, Rocky, an oread bouncer, Lola Lamonte, a Rhombodazzler gnome who runs the cards table, and Ashleford Sundae, a halfling preacher who provides illicit scrolls and potions that the joint also sells.

Alcohol

Monty has a contract with the Shireside mob, who control the illicit flow of alcohol in the city.

Gambling

The gambling at Monty's is affiliated with the Rhombodazzlers, a group of mostly-gnomes who follow Lady Luck, through Lola Lamont. It is likely that Monty pays off the Cold Hand, the undead organised crime gang that runs a downtown casino, for the privilege of running his own tables.
