Guidance on Races For the Hired Gun Campaign

The Hired Gunn Campaign takes place in the city of SigilStar, in the country of Thrane. Due to the demographics and history of Thrane, please keep the following information in mind when choosing a race and religion:
Thrane is made up of 70% humans, 10% half-elves, 9% dwarves, 4% elves, 4% halflings, 3% others. Monster races, Tieflings, Changelings, and, especially, Shifters experience a higher level of prejudice in Thrane despite the doctrine of the country. Less than 200 years ago, in the year 832 YK, the Church of the Silver Flame announced the Silver Crusade: a church-sanctioned scouring of the continent to destroy all lycanthropes and their ilk. This crusade slaughtered most of the lycanthropes on the continent, as well as a race of lycanthropic descendants known as shifters. Due to the atrocities committed by the templars of the Silver Flame during the Purge, it remains a dark page in the church's history.
The dragonmarked houses have trouble acting within the tight strictures of the Church of the Silver Flame, and they must trod carefully around prickly, overbearing cardinals.
