Battle at Kecklerstead
The battle at Kecklerstead between Danevin and Norevin.
The Conflict
Deployment
Norevin left the town and placed themselves south behind the river Pylle.
They knew which areas of the river were safe to cross and at what time of the day.
Danevin approached from the north.
Battlefield
The battlefield was the rolling hills and the river Pylle near Kecklerstead.
Conditions
It was a rainy summers day.
The Engagement
Norevin walked through the river, as Danevin came closer to attack, Norevin retreated back through the river and shifted themselves a bit further west.
Danevin entered the river to get to Norevin and became stuck in many areas of the wide river as it was too deep to walk through at many points.
Norevin used this opportunity to shoot the Danevin forces with crossbowmen and manoeuvre around to attack the exposed flanks of Danevin.
Hagen, the leader of Danevin had to order a retreat when the battle was obviously lost, leaving Norevin as the victors.
Outcome
Kecklerstead and the surrounding area were claimed as Norevin.
