Der Izor Grong
Der Izor Grong (The copper anvil) is an old tavern in Kazad Kol.
It has been carved into the stone of the mountain Kazad Kol resides in, like most other buildings.
The tables and chairs are made out of Wutroth (Wood from an old mountain oak tree) and are hundreds of years old, if not older. The tavern has a hearth set in one of its walls to keep the patrons warm and is often used to cook various hearty meals.
Dwarves of various professions come here to drink and eat with their friends, a happy and joyous atmosphere radiates from it that is almost infectious to anyone that enters.
The sound of tankards being filled, clinking together and laughter is often heard by those walking past its door. There are some musicians playing a lively tune that is appreciated by some and ignored by others.
A smell of ale and food is almost permanently in the air. There are some rooms in the back that are hired out to travellers and merchants. The tavern is run by Lokast Lohf, his wife Malla and their two sons Zustash and Skafar who are the taverns chefs. They have hired some dwarves as barmaids, among them is Skarawynn Runeshield.
