The council of paladins choose the person they deem fit for this position.

Duties

Leading the paladin order, taking care of the moral of the paladins, maintaining the ideals and ethics of the order.

Access to the orders coffers, a large manor and political power.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

If the council of paladins finds that the current holder of this title is not performing his duties they can strip him off this title.
