Structure
Lead by a King/Queen, under him/her are his/her Barons, below the barons are the knights of the realm who can either be sworn in to serve the monarch directly or serve one of the barons. Mayors are in charge of the more direct administration of their respective village, town or city.
History
Laighenlia formed in 121 out of a previous organization that was a federation of mostly independent towns.
In the year 650, a rebellion was led by Edwin Torbin using the Blade of The Elements that overthrew the tyrannical ruling family. Edwin Torbin became the new king.
For a time Laighenlia was a part of a quasi-empire called Ledos that was formed by someone called Rohbar Eisen.
In August of 1004, the pact of Ledos fell apart. All lords decided to turn their territories back into kingdoms. This one included.
In early 1005, there have been reports of travellers and the people living in the region having seen large groups of undead in The Grand Mountains. This is being dismissed as just rumours by the nobility, though some people have been mentioning that a cult of undead worshipers might be behind this.
