Architecture
The whole monastery is built from surrounding stone. Many statues of Adanos can be seen here.
In the centre is the main building where the leaders of this monastery spend most of their time and where daily prayer to Adanos happens.
Surrounding this centre building are various other buildings such as store houses, dorms for the priests and acolytes, a library and scribe halls as well as various other buildings. Then there is a water garden surrounding those buildings with various pools and fountains that are powered using water pressure from the stream this monastery was built next to.
Finally there is a 2.5 metre wall surrounding the whole structure with only a single wooden gate with a door set inside it at its southern side.
