The Final War

Being fed up with the elves of Alfalya, the dwarves of Gatal finally decided to end the constant attacks by waging a final war on Alfalya.
Over the last several years the dwarves decided to dig a tunnel from underneath the Windwall Mountains, all the way into the elven territory of the Isila Forest, where their capital is located.
They did this in case the elves decided to become hostile again and now the time has come to use it.
Forces of Gatal are being sent into this tunnel to prepare for an assault on the capital of Alfalya. While also sending an army above ground as a distraction to draw a bulk of the elven forces away from their town so the soldiers in the tunnel can launch the actual assault with ease.
The dwarves of Gatal achieved most of their their objectives. The one they were unable to achieve was the capture of the elven King Faurdir Melan as he slipped through their fingers. Both of the elven towns were captured, many elven soldiers and civilians were killed during the battles.

The elven territories were captured, many elves were killed in the process.

Aftermath

The elven territories are now part of the dwarven kingdom of Gatal. However the elves that still live there are nothing more than second class citizens at the moment.
