Keranos, God of Storms

God Keranos (a.k.a. God of Storms)

In the chaos of the storm, find the clarity of lightning's strike. Wisdom is forged in the crucible of tempestuous thought.
— Follower of Keranos

Keranos, the relentless god of storms and wisdom, embodies the tempestuous forces of inspiration and fury. Merciless and impatient, he is as likely to strike with a bolt of enlightenment as with a blast of lightning. Rarely appearing directly, when manifest, Keranos takes the form of a stout, bearded, male human wearing a purple loincloth and a mithral chain belt with a dragon's skull clasp. Alternatively, he may appear as a great horned owl with lightning flashing in its eyes. His demeanor is stern, and his speech is brusque, yet a hint of a smile graces his face in the presence of clever plans.

Followers of Keranos

Worship of Keranos attracts tinkerers, inventors, sailors, and those seeking solutions to complex problems. Keranos communicates with mortals through epiphanies and lightning strikes, preferring to inspire through the forces of the storm. Ceremonies and rituals often involve seeking moments of clarity during thunderstorms, with lightning viewed as a direct expression of Keranos's divine will.
