Haku, the Singer of the Silver Wind

Haku, also known as "the Singer of the Silver Wind", is the patron god of the Aarakocra, the High Ælf race who took on the form of birds in their image. They are a a benevolent god of music, stories, and romance. Those who receive Haku's blessings are musicians and story tellers, such as bards, actors, courtesans, and public speakers. Haku is also noteworthy for being the deity most heavily represented by Celestials, as the vast majority of angels and devas on the material plane are servants of their will.   Despite being well known as a compassionate and caring deity, Haku is also notoriously lax in their divine duties. It is said that Haku cannot speak, even to their most loyal followers, and instead only communicates through song and vision, often appearing as a flamboyant songbird or a melody riding on shimmering winds.   One of the many unique traits of Haku and their worshipers are their places of worship. Haku's tenants dictate that they should not be worshiped in stale temples or bland ceremonies, but in the revelry of song and dance. Therefore, Haku claims no churches, but instead is openly celebrated in taverns, theaters, and festival squares. To reinforce this point, many of Haku's celestial representatives on the material plane work as tavern keeps, circus troupe leaders, or wandering storytellers, leading the people of Auvia in exaltation of their god. Cities and towns where one of these beings reside are often important places for local travelers to congregate, and while local officials hold these beings in very high regard, more often than not they actively avoid taking part in matters of mortal leadership.   Haku is worshiped alongside El'Braor , Lunæthra and Míradai as a member of the Great Wheel, the four deities held in highest regard by the remaining peoples of Old Æthra. After the Fall of Æthra, Haku has not had a mortal representative on the the Tetrarchy. Haku's followers have never been inclined to form anything resembling a formal religious organization, and with the disappearance of El'Braor from their pantheon, any semblance of order has scattered. Due to this loss of leadership, at the behest of Saint Celeste, Haku is currently represented by one of their deva's, a being known as Janius, who begrudgingly agreed to serve as an advisory delegate in the interim, until a more suitable tetrarch could be found.   Outside of the Great Wheel, Haku is also worshiped a primary deity among the Sons of the Titan. Like all of the deities in the Great Wheel, they are considered an evil god within the Lore of the Deep.
