The Estrialist Rebellion

The Estrialist Rebellion was formed in 517 AXR by King Cydranon as a response to advances from The Everen Empire. Estrialist occupied territories include Eld'rinoth and later Calanthe in 520 AXR when King Strividn joined the cause against the Empire.
To begin with, the Rebellion's purpose was to stop the Empire from advancing up to and taking territories such as The Golden Shores and Senith Isles. After the Empire was unsuccessful, it instead attempted to invade Eld'rinoth directly over The Western Spine. The Rebellion moved the majority of its troops up to their side of the mountain range. When they refused to retreat, Emperor Barontyne declared war.
