Glass Crayfish Tavern
This stone and mortar building is one of the oldest taverns in the city. Located in the eastern sector of the city, the Glass Crayfish Tavern is famous for their spicy crawfish boil - boiled crawfish, potatoes, maize, beans, and mushrooms in a spicy broth.
Architecture
Inside the building, visitors will find a cobblestone chimney on the left side wall, wooden tables with chairs spaced throughout the main room. Along the back wall is a small bar and swiveling door into a kitchen and storage room. Along the right side wall is a large stone made well about three feet tall. Inside the well are hundreds of live crawfish.
