The Fortress of Drek' Thylor

Testament to the Will of Heverion

Purpose / Function

The capital city of The Kingdom of Twilight, Drek' Thylor stands eternally tall, unimaginably wide, and its reach extends across the world. This city was built specifically to be the seat of the High Scholar, however this city also serves as a Sanctuary for the followers of Heverion, and a stronghold for the greatest military force on the planet.

Architecture

The city's walls are wrought from the finest metal available to human smiths, Thakyrium a metal stronger than steel, lighter than leather, and takes the fire from a thousand forges to heat and work. The walls are perfectly smooth with statues of Helliphon guarding the gate to the Eternal City. Houses in the city are built of the finest marble and granite, these structures are elegantly crafted to feature pillars, engravings, and often times picture walls of the family's history. Stores have Thakyrium statues over looking the door to the store as to ward off bad luck and thieves. There is a great Statue of Heverion in the center of the city, which can be seen for miles in any direction. Finally the great Fortress-Sanctuary of the Heverion Knights stands behind Heverion's statue, taller and sturdier than any other building on the planet. At the very top of this colossal tower is the seat of the High Scholar.
