This country was formed within the last few decades.
It was previously part of Fallencall and ruled by a Wizard Lord who experimented on his population. His experiments on Goblins created Hobgoblins, with the intention for them to serve as his army.
A band of his “subjects” rose up as folk heroes and deposed him. These heroes are still in charge of the country today.
Currently, the biggest threats facing the fledgling nation are border tensions with Fallencall, the ravenous merchants of Welterglow , and a smooth transition of power.
