Kerat Temple
Purpose / Function
The Kerat Temple was constructed as the first base for Royal Dragon Riders by order of Keratus Kranío, giving him and his riders a place to train, bond and care with their dragons. As the kingdom grew the temple gained infamy as the place where Dragon Riders trained and was remodeled a few times, either to make sure the building didn't decay or to modernize it. After the war with The Pole Federation, the temple was converted to a santuary to make sure dragons did not go extinct. Currently the residers are the "keepers" of the dragons, family, and members, from the former riders who have a deep connection to the still living dragons.
Alterations
- In 2634 the temple underwent major renovations and expansions, removing the west wing, and relocating it so as to have a larger court-yard. All the rooms were renovated so as to accommodate the Riders and dragons.
- In 2712 a large pool was added to the south side, by order of the King who saw the riders and dragons suffer under the hot summer sun.
- In 3056 the temple was once again renovated and the former fields were made into yards, by order of a princess that believed the temple to be "too ugly and military".
- After the war with The Pole Federation the temple was renovated and converted from military base and temple to just temple.
