The Eye of God

Geography

This moon is perfectly spherical. So much so that it's thought to be one of if not the most perfect mirror in the galaxy. A reflection of the planet it is orbiting can be seen clearly over the bottom of the orb, while the top displays the reflections of distant stars and space.

Localized Phenomena

Most notably, this moon somehow posses a greater level of magnetism that can be observered anywhere else in the galaxy. It is so great that not even the largest of ships can travel safely in the same hemisphere with the moons current location. If they try, the ship is immediately pulled into the moon, smashing to pieces on its perfectly smooth surface. This has happened several times, but somehow bo debris ever remains stuck to its surface, seeming to disappear in just a few hours. Saurian scientists have tested this phenomenon from a distance by intentionally sending a ship to crash and observing it with super long distance sensors. The baffled scientists could come up with no other explanation other than that the moon seemed to absorb the debris, the fragments seeming to sink into the moon's surface as if it were a dense liquid. Also unexplainably, the Eye of God orbits its planet, Vomulo 9, in a X pattern that effectively traversed the planet's sky in two perpendicular paths. To accomplish this, immediately after making on full rotation around its planet, the Eye somehow swings into its second orbit, falling into a path perpendicular to its previous one. After it completes this orbit, it switches back to the other one, and so on. As the moon passes over the surface, any metal objects are instantly pulled up through the atmosphere to be observed by the enigmatic orb, the path of the moon traveling perfectly so that every square inch of the planet will be effected. So perfect in fact is this disruption, that some speculate that the moon was put there long ago by some greater being or beings to protect the planet's natural beauty from being destroyed by the buildings of any civilization.
