"The Zolt was originally captained by Henri L'espoire but he was taken as Slave by Admiral Shedrrah Emberglow for the theft of the Recall Device. First Mate Trevor assumed command of the Zolt until he, jokingly, gave Pate the captainship of the Zolt to help him prove he could be responsible. Pate proved himself to be a fine leader, tripled the wages of the crew, and even commanded the Zolt during the Kruu Civil War. It appears as though Trevor may have lost the rank of Captain for real to Pate. The Zolt is currently being carried around by the flying ship Nemezhat. It's held aloft by the Nemezhat's tentacles as it flies. Captain Pate of the Zolt and captain Kelso of the Nemezhat are current allies.
