Nistra (Nee-Strah)
Nistra is a curious destination in the Infinite Planes. It shares no common relation with either the realms of good or evil due to its neutrality but it's alien connection the domains of law and chaos also kill any possible similarities. One half of the realm seems like it was carved by a master sculptor while the other seems like it was made by a madman or by nothing at all. And yet for all their differences, I only see one place that has similiarities. Our homeworld of Aeternum. The crystaline structures are too similar to the original Eternal Cities and their natural sights are similar to our own as well. Not to much the beings that exist can take on forms drastically similar to our own. In it's own way, Nistra could be the universe's attempt to make their own Aeternum.
Geography
Nistra appears to be a giant circular landmass with a hole in the middle where a massive singularity exists known as Non. Its gravity does nothing to Nistra but pulls an endless nebula towards it, creating a vast cloud around Nistra. At the poles of Non, the gases are so compressed to the point of becoming jets of energy that shoot towards Non and disappear at the event horizon.
The infinite landmass itself is split between domains, each on one side of the landmass like a coin. Neither side of the land expands past the height of Non and, despite being infinite in width, never stretches far enough away to obscure Non from sight. While there is a finite edge that can be reached, one can't fall off of it. Instead when they walk off the ledge, gravity pulls them onto the side and they can walk along the side of Nistra until they reach the other side.
The two domains of Nistra are: Kános and Lyx (Lex). Lyx is usually seen as the upperside of Nistra. It is the side of Law and the absolute version of order that the rest of the universe is only pale imitations of. The Lyxons live here, wardens of law in the universe. Their buildings are semi-opaque with glowing rainbow lights flashing when the light of Non's jets flicker in the sky. Even the lakes and geographic features are perfectly cut and measured, kept in exact measurements down to the smallest amount. A notable tower extends towards the jet of covering the whole of Non to prevent it from drawing parts of Lyx into it when it becomes active. It also narrows or widens at the open top to allow more or less of the jets as the Lyx want in their studies. There is also The Great Archive, one of the three great libraries of the Infinite Planes that houses all knowledge in the universe and if it doesn't, collects what they don't already have.
Kános is seen as the lower side and is the side of Chaos in its purest form. The Káno accept the chaos of their domain, irregular buildings, mountains, and sights across the domain. Nothing here is exact, nothing is ever perfect because what is in this universe that naturally forms. The alleyways of Kános are able to slip into Lyx and vice versa, allowing both sides to go to the other's domain for their own purposes. Most of the crystaline structures are of a variety of colors and builds, some lop-sided, others leaning. There are even those that are made in such an exact way but only on their own. Crystaline spires stretch across the skyline that can be seen when not blocked by the nebula storms. They wrap around the jets of Non and slip into them, causing the spires to shatter and reform in a constant cycle. Parts of Kános are drawn into Non as well as they have no safeties against the singularity.
History
Nistra was formed from the twin realms of Lyx and Kános smashing into each other during the formation of the infinite planes. At first, the two inhabitants warred with each other over theri differences and one wanting to install order and the other chaos. However, the two learned that in-fighting to force one to be in power went against the principles of their domains. So the two formed a truce where they would simply try to keep balance between the two sides when one became greater than the other. They both stayed out of the Blood War as good and evil battle amongst themselves. They only came to aid in the war against the X'ith'ila as they were an enemy to the balance the two had shaped. As the Eternals return to the universe, Nistra begins to stir, curious on what effect these immortals will have on the blanace of the universe.
