Baralj is the second largest country in landmass with a total area of --. It is located between latitudes 40° and 70°N, and longitudes --. During the Pennemir Empire, it's territory vastly increased under the rule of Emperor Iskov Pennemir covering most of Northwestern Imesna spreading East as well as the North coast of Karnharte and Northeast Čéark. After the end of Iskov's rule, most of those conquered territories were released by Isomir Adenna who came into power afterwards in an attempt to resume friendly relations with the affected nations.Topography
The territory consists mainly of plains to the Southeast, steppes to the northwest, taiga throughout the middle and to the far West, tundra along the northern border, and evergreen forests to the South.Climate
Central Baralj possesses a humid continental climate with mild, cool, and humid summers and long, cold winters. West Baralj has a much milder climate with warmer winters than the rest of the country due to its large borders with the sea and the warm ocean currents which also bring frequent rainfall. Mountains in the North of Baralj block some of the cold air masses from the Arctic which leads to more livable areas with less subarctic climates. The Southern coasts have sparse humid, subtropic climates.Full Article
