Kingdom of Krsi

Structure

Blood Queen

The Kingdom of Krsi is ruled by a despotic queen. The queen is chosen based on the purity of bloodline and control over blood magic.

History

The Blood Scourge War

Contained in a small country, the Krsiljudi began to run out of resources : victims on which to perform a blood tribute. Eventually, they began to expand outwards, sacrificing nearby villages. With no defenses put up against them, they grew greedy and took over surrounding nations, turning their citizens into blood scourges with which they would take over more countries.   A constantly growing army of unfeeling soldiers allowed the Krsiljudi quickly took control of Rhaheddica, until only a few small kingdoms in the North and the Kingdom of Rhedya in the South were still standing. The Kingdom of Rhedya sought help and Baralj, Njirralde, and Čéarku allied with them against the Kingdom of Krsi and the war was won. They destroyed the kingdome and launched a genocide on all remaining Krsiljudi to prevent such a thing from happening again.--

Demography and Population

The Kingdom of Krsi was inhabited only by Krsiljudi. No one dared to set foot within its borders in fear that they would be a part of the Blood Tribute. Neighboring countries would even set up warnings to prevent unsuspecting travelers from entering the territory lest they be devoured.

Territories

Towards the end of the Kingdom's existence, it held most of central Rhaheddica with only a few small nations to the North, and the Kingdom of Rheddya around it.

Military

Most of the nation's military strength was composed of blood scourges that were formerly citizens of other nations or soldiers that had been sent to fight against them. In comparison, only a small amount of Krsiljudi were sent out on the front lines, and those that were, went there to perform blood tributes and gain more blood scourges to replace those that fell.

Foreign Relations

Being antagonistic to all other nations and serving as a threat to their citizens, the Kingdom of Krsi had no allies. The only thing that stopped them from being obliterated from the get-go was a strong fear that they would only provide the Krsi with more sustenance on which to grow.
