Poheside Nautilus
The Poheside Nautilus is a shelled creature found in the waters of Avondale, However it is rare to spot them anywhere but in the surprisingly shallow waters surrounding the Poheside Reef where these nautilus’ get their name. The nautilus has a spiral white shell shell, with unique spots and stripes of yellow, tan and aqua. It is said that no two nautilus will ever have the same pattern. The Poheside Nautilus is small and a full grown nautilus can measure between 8 and 15 inches, with the females generally being larger. Due to their size and lack of offensive capabilities Poheside Nautilus’ are skittish, peaceful creatures that will retract into their shells when threatened. Sharks, turtles, octopuses, dolphins and some fish enjoy the soft meat of the nautilus but due to their reclusiveness most humanoids have never had the chance to dine on such a delicacy.
