For the time being, life in Umoris is consistent.
A flimsy peace exists between most cities, and the everlasting war between Montlimar and Taram continues. For adventuring types, there is almost always work to be found, typically clearing an area of unwanteds after a brazen settler decides to push the borders of where they live. But, this consistency is at risk. Tensions are climbing as Nolboldor fortifies their borders. Travel along popular roads is less safe than it used to be, with travellers never making it to their destination.
