Occidentalis

The Occidentalis was a human military vessel forming the flagship of the fleet of Branca, the Kingdom of the South. The Occidentalis participated in the Battle of the Bay of Shipwrecks and was instrumental in getting the Zenethian Heroes to Parthenia at the end of the Manslayer War in the Fourth Age.

History

The Fourth Age: The Age of Shadow
After the start of the Manslayer War, the Occidentalis and the bulk of the Brancan navy sailed around Konenbur to patrol the eastern coast of Gimor against further attacks.   Near the end of the month of Drimon in 4A 996, the Occidentalis was boarded by King Alphonse Brancana and the Zenethian Heroes on the eastern coast of the Wild Lands. The ship joined the allied fleet there and set sail into the Parthenian Sea.   The Occidentalis participated in the Battle of the Bay of Shipwrecks. During the battle, the Effervescent was destroyed to protect the Occidentalis and a crew of an opposed minotaur vessel rammed into and boarded the ship. During the fighting on the deck of the ship, Brigitte was killed and later resurrected.   Eventually, the Occidentalis and the Falcon would break through and land on the coast of Parthenia, allowing the Zenethian Heroes to enter these lands in pursuit of Psaro the Manslayer.
