Falcon

The Falcon was a small sailing vessel that originally formed part of Psaro the Manslayer's fleet, before Petra D'Silva led a mutiny on the ship and took command of it. The Faclon participated in the Battle of the Bay of Shipwrecks and was instrumental in getting the Burland fleet to the battle in time, allowing the Zenethian Heroes to reach Parthenia at the end of the Manslayer War in the Fourth Age.   In the Fifth Age, the Falcon was Petra's primary vessel and would be her primary mode of transport as she worked with the emmergance of the Parthenian Federation. The ship was functional for many years before it sailed out of Falcon Port and was never seen again.

Description

The Falcon was a small frigate. It was primarily black in color. It had an under-deck cargo hold, a primary and secondary mast, and a crow's nest with access to the ship's flagpole. After the ship was claimed by Petra D'Silva, it would often be seen flying an emerald-colored flag with the Zenethian symbol on it: the Warbanner of the Falcon.

History

The Fourth Age: The Age of Shadow
During the Manslayer War, the Falcon formed part of Psaro the Manslayer's navy in the Parthenian Sea. It was crewed by gnolls and commanded by minotaurs.   Near the end of the month of Drimon in 4A 996, Petra D'Silva convinced Black Phillip, General of the Manslayer, that she had defected and was placed as part of the crew on the Falcon. The mission of the ship was to waylay the approaching Burland fleet so that it could not join the allied fleet gathering on the coast of the Wild Lands.   On the ship, Petra met Ringer, a gnoll, who she convinced to aid her in starting a mutiny and overthrowing the minotaur crew in charge. They took the ship and were able to lead the Burland fleet onwards towards the Parthenian Sea.   The Falcon participated in the Battle of the Bay of Shipwrecks. Eventually, both the Falcon and the Occidentalis would break through and land on the coast of Parthenia, allowing the Zenethian Heroes to enter these lands in pursuit of Psaro the Manslayer.
The Fifth Age: The Age of Beginnings
During the Fifth Age, the Falcon made many trips between Parthenia and the lands of Gimor as Petra D'Silva fulfilled her duties as Emissary of Beasts.   Around 5A 050, the Falcon docked at Endor Port and Petra D'Silva disembarked to Endor, the First Mountain. This allowed her to eventually meet with the Tribe of the Golden Fur and arrange their settlement in the Kingdom of Endor.   Later in the Fifth Age, the Falcon would depart from Falcon Port for the last time, never being seen again.
