“The beast’s flagship drove its prow towards the Occidentalis, and they had not the time nor space to turn aside, so hectic was the battle. It was then the jewel of the elven fleet, the Effervescent, turned in front of the beasts. It was destroyed and sunk, but their sacrifice ensured King Brancana, and the Zenethian Heroes, could continue the assault.”
