The Rime Rite is a winter holiday in Azimuth. It is observed yearly around 24 Drimon during the harshest part of the winter season.

Description

The holiday is observed by several tribes of the Wild Lands, however individual tribes may have different obersance dates. It is a trial during the harshest part of winter, and it often involves surviving alone in a winter storm. It is a ceremony of survival, to show one must first rely on oneself before they can truly give aid to others.
This tradition may have been inspired by stories of a great hero from the myths and legends of the region. Though many do not believe these stories to be real, and it's unknown if the figure in these tales was real, they are important to the culture of the humans in the Wild Lands.
