Warbanner of the Falcon

The Warbanner of the Falcon is an ornate maritime flag originally commissioned by Petra D'Silva, Emissary of Beasts. This flag would see use during the ending events of the Manslayer War, and later would be the primary banner on the Falcon.   The banner has much history, and it is said it fills those who saw it not with dread, but with faith and confidence. It has not been seen for nearly a century and is believed to be lost.

Description

The banner is of fine make and is primarily emerald in color. The flag is emblazoned with the symbol of Zenethia, the Plane of Light.

History

The Fourth Age: The Age of Shadow
In late 4A 996, during the Manslayer War, Petra D'Silva commissioned the warbanner while in Branca, the Kingdom of the South.   After the war council, Petra split from the Zenethian Heroes and joined the crew of the Parthenian ship, the Falcon. During the fleet's engagement with the fleet of Burland, the Kingdom of the North, Petra took over the ship, sunk the other Parthenian vessels, and flew the warbanner.   In late Drimon 4A 996, during the Battle of the Bay of Shipwrecks, Petra led the Burlander fleet, which were hidden in a mist behind the Falcon. As the mist was dissipated, the Falcon raised the warbanner and engaged, surprising the Parthenian reserve vessels.
The Fifth Age: The Age of Beginnings
During her duties as the Emissary of Beasts, Petra continued to fly the warbanner as the main flag of the Falcon.
