Endal (en-dɔːl)

Though there are many religions in the multiverse, and Seryphorm recognizes that many Demons, especially ones who travel, believe in Cryhon, the religion associated with the many Gods of the Multiverse, Seryphorm also has its own distinct religion called Endal.

Endal is a polytheistic religion consisting of eleven Gods, called Per’y, who live in An’iro (Kingdom of the Gods). Each God deals with a particular attribute, as well as other elements of life. Their eyes are also different than the eyes of Demons; their scleras and irises are their sacred colour, and their pupils are white.

Demons who believe in Endal often identify with a particular God, usually the God of their primary attribute. That God is their patron, to whom they pray. But this is not always the case.

Mythology & Lore

Death

Rest, sweet child. Your life is over. Be at peace.
Away, away, your spirit floats away.
Out of your broken Soul, away from here.
Your body lays motionless and empty.
It is no longer you. You are not in there.
You are out here. A spirit, floating away.
Isite will take your hand and guide you.
Guide you to Dartor, the true afterlife.

Rest, sweet child. Your life is over. Be at peace.
There is no joy. There is no sadness. Nothing.
There is no pain anymore. This is the end.
There is nothing but peace. There is nothing.
A void. A field. Emptiness. Full of spirits.

Rest, sweet child. Your life is over. Be at peace.

Cosmological Views

Birth of the original Gods

In the beginning. Empty. Nothing. Void.
Six Gods. Sprung from the elements themselves.
All at once. All apart. Throughout all space.
Lost and alone. Not even Gods are perfect.

Imroth, sprung of Time and born with Knowledge.
Energetic and joyous. All-Knowing.
They so crave to learn more. Learning or death.
They say, but sometimes they find both. Reckless child.

Kinennys, the loyal. The beastly one.
Sprung from the animals whom they so loved.
The chaotic. Right hand of the ruler.
Loyal to a fault. To the very end. Gone.

Lorché, the Mad God. The Button eyed one.
They weren’t born with the buttons. They sewed them in.

Nefir, ruler of the Gods. All Hearing.
The charming one. Long live the monarchy.
A silver tongue. And a razor temper.
Much too prideful. Best to say on their good side.

Rindach, All-Seeing. Healer of the Gods.
The left hand. They protect the ones they love.
They panic. They heal you from the inside.
They peek at the darkest secrets in your mind.

Uero. What does this being even do?
It is unclear. Very vague. Undefined.
Master of Construction. The creator.
Something about fortune. Honestly, who knows?

Six Gods. Sprung from the elements themselves.
All at once. All apart. Throughout all space.
No one is truly perfect. Even Gods.
But these imperfect being rule all of space.
So bow down and pay your respects. Fickle Gods.
