Rakhar

Rakhar is a semi-tidal locked world in the Ju'ad system, and the home world of the Judari Empire. The slow rotation of the planet ensures the northern ice cap stays frozen while most of the rest of the planet is a scorched desert. Initially settled during the Second Expansion period for its vast fuel supplies, mining operations on the glacial ice caps continue to this day, although much of the rest of the planet has been since mined out.
