A Tide of Invaders from a Green Sea

This morning marked the sixth day of conflict in Za'Kana, as forces from the
League of Hakara invaded en-masse, landing on the shores of House
House Za'Kana,
House Za'Ashva, and
Buna Grela in force. After forcing capitulation from and annexing
House Vi'Naad and all their associated territories last week, factions loyal to House Vi'Saan immediately embarked on a campaign against their Northern neighbors, seemingly targeting any nations openly associating with the
Congregation of OLORUN.
"They mean to break our faith," commented Arty Arthur Baudler, a member of the Za'Ashva 23rd Chassis corps that was discharged when an explosion took his leg, along with half his mech. "They wish to take away the one thing that separates us from them. To make us lesser than them. But I remember when my father fought the traitors to protect our faith as well. It was not so easily broken then, either." Baudler is one of two surviving members of his unit, who suffered heavy casualties during the initial assault. More on this story as it develops.
Skanian Conflict Winds to a Close
After more than three months of fighting, a peace agreement between the
Skanian government and
New Skani (on behalf of the
T'waran Weave) was signed on Wednesday, with both sides agreeing not to redraw borders. The agreement woud see the Skanian governemtn paying much of the reparations for both countries, as well as forced dismantlement along the border with New Skani. Despite these impositions, delegates from Skania have expressed an interest in joining the T'Waran Weave themselves, in hopes of recieving the same aid and protections that cost them victory here.
