Nineveh

Nineveh is a continent divided by traditions and gods. There are six main countries, five of which are dedicated in some way to one of the Elder gods. Nineveh has to be a self sustaining continent as there is little trade from the other three continents. The waters are too rough due to Kava's powerfull waves. Nineveh is not the oldest, nor the youngest continent and has been the victim of many demon lords trying to take full control of Nineveh and rule it as their own. The newest case was demon lord Asmodai. He had multiple pieces of the puzzle for his reign to begin. However, the monarchs of Nineveh came together and decided to stake their trust into a B-ranked adventuring party, Lorem Ipsum. Accompanied by Empress Ace's main bodyguard the 8-man party set off to conquer Asmodai. They succeded and brought the Oblivion back to its rightful state a lush beautiful land.   Scania is the southernmost country. A cold country with more wildlife than people. However, they do have the most populous capital in the whole continent, Felldion. The country of Scania is a country that worships Udos, god of time. The barren fields and plains are filled with countless caves, dungeons, and monsters, and a lot of mountains dwell in this part of Nineveh.
Towards the Northeast lies the country of Jascana. It's a warmer version of Scania, with the exception of vast forests. Where Scania is a land of hills and caves, Jascana is layered thick with dense forests and supreme mountain ranges. The main capital of Jascana is Krubix. Known for their devotion to Mardros, goddess of Nature. Many druids and people of the land tend to migrate here for the rich, magical energy the land provides them with.
Right under Jascana is the country of Selatres. Most settlements are along the coast. The majority of Nineveh's fishing and all things aquatic come from this place. A land of free blowing winds, and the fresh ocean breeze. The capital Golport is famous for their pristine products, and also infamous for their close ties with the underground. Be careful when travelling on the water as Kava, goddess of the Seas is a ruthless goddess if not offered the correct sacrifices. Your boat will surely capsize leaving you to deal with the demons of the deep. Off the coast of Selatres are the Wave Isles.
On the northern end of Nineveh is Kleumizura. Once a rich country with morals and traditions, now a global mecca for any and all foul. The heart of the underground lies dormant under the facade of the once noble country. The capital Priaver is still the main point of Kleumizura, but the most of the population resides in another much larger city, Ulburg. Unlike the other countries, Kleumizura actually isn't completely devoted to one of the six gods, rather two gods are mainly worshipped. The twin gods, Nero, god of Order and Loysus, god of Chaos will be the primary dedicated shrines you find in this country. The geography itself is mostly desert. Loads of sand with the occasional oasis. The capital is built in the only vegetation found in the country in the middle of the Sralo Desert.
Next to Kleumizura is Zecria. A rather quiet country compared to its neighbor in Kleumizura. Zecria is a land full of magic. Wizards, sorcerers, warlocks anyone who uses magic can travel here and fell right at home. The capital Kudsall is bustling with everything arcane. This is also home to popular wizarding schools such as the Scrolls bound Academy and the Institue of Warlocks. The people of Kudsall are proud practitioners of the arcane arts and pity those who are weak in it and loathe anyone who can't use magic. The Ruler is decided during the Grand Arcane Tournament. A competition to see whose intellect and battle tactics are best. He or she who wins is immediately crowned as the new Grand Arcanist. Bothos the god of stars is renowned as the one true god as most of the high-ranking wizards and sorcerers draw immense power from the galaxy and stars.
The last and final country is Trodan. A country with no real traditions and no gods to outrightly worship. Trodan is often a place of peace and tranquility. The Empress and authority have laws set in stone and have not changed them since the Great War. No one questions the rulings of Empress Ace. The land is full of misfits and outlaws Trodan welcomes them all. If you ever need a place to lie low for a couple of years Trodin is the place to go. The capital Imalo is packed full of immigrants and people from all walks of life. It is by far the most diverse compared to the other major cities and capitals of Nineveh. Their main source of income comes from their adventuring guilds. Such as the Boarseekers Guild. The strongest fighters and warriors seem to always emerge from this guild. Not much happens in the city of Imalo and the country itself, thus leading to loads and loads of horrible monsters and aberrations to take residence in this country.

History

677 years ago there was the Great War. Country against country. Bloodshed galore. The gods seemed to have it out for each other. The legend is that Loysus, the god of chaos, got bored one day and lit a fire under Udos' ass only to cause him to lose his temper and stop all time and reality as we know it. No one knows for how long time was stopped, but what we do know is that once time was placed back on its respectful path the gods were pissed. Each one complained to the people of Nineveh and waged war which lasted five years. There is six countries, six sets of borders. They all keep to themselves and try not to bother each other. That was until 578 PA (Post Assimilation) when the treaty of compromise came to fruition, created by King Ronald Ambers I. Each nation signed the document and agreed to open their borders again. Nineveh is now in its most prosperous time. Each god favoring their own countries and helping them flourish.

Tourism
