The Valley of Barovia

Barovia is an once idyllic mountain valley within the Balinok mountains. The terrain is densely wooded and the climate is one of frigid winters. Barovia once was a slice of heaven, to any who knew of it's existence, before Strahd's arrival, however, it's now a dismal shadow of what it once was. The Valley hosts a small village (Also named Barovia), over which looms Castle Ravenloft, the ancestral seat of vampiric ruler Strahd von Zarovich
