The Bleak tend to keep to themselves. They are a nation of farmers, whalers, and industrialists. The Kingdom has a firm grip on its southern reaches, but The Wilds are a dangerous contested zone which often sees raids from The Wildmen, savage barbarians of the taiga.

The Bleak occupy a large portion of The Bleak Coast, with Whaler's Repose considered the edge of civilization to the north. Beyond the marshland is contested and wild territory inhabited by the savage and mysterious Wildmen.
